Maple Syrup & Rosemary Marinade



  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 1 shallot, diced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste, we use Redmond’s Real Salt
  • *additional ¼ cup maple syrup to brush over chicken while it is cooking*



  • Whisk all the ingredients together in a container of your choosing.
  • Take your choice of chicken cuts, put them in a zip-lock bag and pour the marinade mixture over the chicken.
  • Let sit in the fridge for AT LEAST 4 hours, ideally overnight.
  • Pop your chicken on the grill or into the oven, periodically brushing some maple syrup over it.
  • Once you have cooked your chicken to your liking, serve and enjoy!
