Cut chicken into a butterfly. Cut a slit down and then cut a slit on both sides like butterfly wings and pull apart the chicken..
Season with Salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, cayenne, and dried parsley.
Massage well.
Add 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil to a pan or skillet.
Preheat oven or air fryer to 350°F
On medium heat add chicken and cook on low to medium heat for about three minutes on each side. Make sure the chicken is not burning lower the heat if it is too hot.
Move the chicken to air fryer or oven finish cooking at 350°F for 5 minutes.
add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter sauté your onion. Add in the garlic cook for 30 seconds.
Add broth, you can add more broth if you would like to have more sauce. Just make sure to adjust your seasonings accordingly.
Season with salt, paprika, cumin, and parsley.
Add the chicken into the sauce and soak up the sauce on low heat.
Serve along side your favorite sides or over some rice.
